Founder and Strategy, Evaluation and Learning Consultant

WHY IMPACT PERSPECTIVES?

I founded Impact Perspectives, LLC in 2025 to support organizations' and communities' ability to understand and demonstrate why their work matters. I do so by valuing:

  • people and their perspectives
  • service to our partners and communities
  • equitable inquiry and action
  • collaboration
  • innovation and creativity

As the Founder and Strategy, Evaluation, and Learning Consultant, I bring over 20 years of experience in evaluation and strategic design at global, national, regional, and local levels. I started my career with the U.S. Peace Corps as a Health Education Volunteer in Cote d'Ivoire, West Africa, and subsequently worked in Virginia at a local community-based organization serving women and young children. I expanded my evaluation and strategy expertise during a 22-year career at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Upon retiring from that work, I started Impact Perspectives, LLC to return to my grassroots beginnings and work alongside local organizations and communities.

Based in Bluffton, South Carolina, I have a passion for contributing to the creation and sustainment of healthy, strong, and vibrant communities across the South Carolina Lowcountry and beyond.

Impact Perspectives: Strategy and Strengths

Through deep listening and pattern identification, I work with you to integrate perspectives to understand the impact of your organization's work. What works, in what contexts, for whom, and why?

  • Why does your work matter? What is your unique contribution to your community or your field?
  • Who are you reaching?
  • Are there things you could do differently, or do more of, to be even more effective?

By tailoring my approach to each client's unique needs and context, and working alongside my clients, I provide:

  • Actionable insights that guide ongoing learning and informed decision-making
  • Strengthened organizational capacity for creative, innovative, data-informed solutions to complex issues
  • Tailored, organization- and community-driven inquiry that humanizes numbers
